Bruce Vilanch Next Up at Spalding Gray; Dratch Extends

Writer/actor Bruce Vilanch will be the next guest performer in Spalding Gray: Stories Left to Tell at the Minetta Lane Theatre, appearing from April 24 through May 6. Current guest Rachel Dratch has extended her appearance for one week, and can now be seen in performances through April 22.

Vilanch appeared on Broadway as Edna Turnblad in Hairspray and has written comic material for awards shows and performers such as Bette Midler and Michael Feinstein. He joins an ensemble cast in Stories Left to Tell that includes Kathleen Chalfant, Hazelle Goodman, Ain Gordon and Tony winner Frank Wood.

Conceived by Gray's widow Kathleen Russo and directed by Lucy Sexton, Spalding Gray: Stories Left To Tell assembles both well-known and never-before-seen work spanning Gray¹s extraordinary life and career as a monologist.
